David Hansel
Managing Partner
David Hansel has a diverse and successful background spanning over two decades as a real estate investor that includes acquisition, construction, development, management, capital raising, and lending. As a managing partner, David heads up all the company’s capital management and capital raising efforts. Additionally, he is an integral part of the company’s overall management and the acquisition and underwriting team.
Frank Forte
Managing Partner
Frank is an experienced real estate investor, banker, and asset manager. Frank oversees and leads all acquisitions, asset management, and financing activities for the firm. Frank’s deep network and institutional experience have allowed him to lead the firm into a number of markets in a relatively short period, capitalizing on inefficient and distressed opportunities to provide investors with strong risk-adjusted returns.

Crosslake Park is located in Mooresville, NC. The 55,000-square-foot, 100% occupied property was acquired by Lucern in late 2023. Crosslake’s proximity to major transportation hubs, highways, and Charlotte’s central business district makes it a prime destination for tenants seeking convenient access to markets and customers. This property comprises 30 light industrial and retail spaces totaling 55,000 square feet across two main building structures. Crosslake Park is 100% occupied by a variety of desirable tenants.
Indeneer Light Industrial Portfolio
The Indeneer Light Industrial Portfolio is located in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region. This asset boasts three buildings within the Indeneer Business Park. This area is a major manufacturing and transportation hub, offering tenants excellent interstate connectivity. Acquired by Lucern in February of 2024, the property, fully occupied and built in 1999, includes an additional 1.02-acre parcel for potential income expansion.
